Dimaniyat Islands
Our Main Destination
The Dimaniyat Islands Nature Reserve is the heart of AquaDive Oman’s daily operations. Located off the coast of Muscat, this protected group of islands is widely known for crystal-clear waters, vibrant coral reefs, and rich marine biodiversity. The reserve offers excellent conditions for snorkeling and scuba diving throughout most of the year. Visibility is often very good to excellent, and sea conditions are generally calm during the main diving seasons. Water temperatures are comfortable for most of the year, and seasonal changes bring different marine species, making each visit unique and rewarding.
Snorkeling Experiences
Snorkeling at the Dimaniyat Islands is one of the most accessible and visually rewarding marine activities in Oman. Exceptional water clarity allows snorkelers to observe coral gardens, colorful reef fish, and marine life directly from the surface. Guests frequently encounter sea turtles and a wide variety of reef species, while shallow reef formations create a comfortable environment for beginners.

Discovery Scuba Diving
Discovery Scuba Diving is designed for guests who want to experience scuba diving for the first time in a safe and controlled environment. The Dimaniyat Islands provide ideal conditions for this experience, with clear water, gentle sea conditions, and beautiful underwater scenery. Before entering the water, participants receive a comprehensive briefing covering equipment use, underwater communication, and essential safety procedures.

Dimaniyat Islands Diving Trips
Our Dimaniyat Islands diving trips are carefully planned to offer divers the best possible underwater experience while fully respecting conservation regulations. Scuba Diving Training Programs (PADI & NAUI)
AquaDive Oman offers internationally recognized scuba diving training through both PADI and NAUI. This dual-agency approach allows flexibility in teaching methods while maintaining global recognition and high training standards. Below are common training pathways offered, listed in a clear progression from entry level to professional leadership.
PADI Programs
PADI Discover Scuba Diving: A first-time experience under instructor supervision, designed to introduce basic skills and underwater comfort without certification.
PADI Open Water Diver: The first full certification, covering theory, skill development, and open-water dives, allowing independent diving with a buddy (typically up to 18 meters).
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver: Skill development through adventure dives, improving confidence, navigation, and deeper diving experience (typically up to 30 meters).
